a total of 4,000 num-
i3:2der the reviou.s systei, the IV Arty Corps had been allotted
7,1 0 motor vehicle 3rlor to tie late fall of 1951 and addi-
tional at~out 4.00 motcv vehicle duri ng the period fain October
1951 to Tune i, 9520 .As it appea:s that all motor vehicles 25X1
allotted to the IV Arty Corps prior to the spring of 1952 had been
used, t} ere is reason for believing that, on 1 July 1952, the corps had
about 2, 440 motor vehicle s
The ;'+,,000 motor vehicle allotted under the present system are an
increase of about 1600 motor vohiclo From these must be sub-- 25X1

Brig of the Third Shock Army which had been stationed in Alt en.r;rabow prior
to ayI and art'r Alnovino to Iinstock on about 1 July 1952
was .reasr3i gned to the IV Arty Ccrpsm See paragraph 120 On t1u Iriss of
the distribution and the spl t .ink; up of series of ar .ies of the GOFG, it
can definitely be stated hoer, ever , that the number of motor vehicles asst. gned
to the 1J Arty Corps were not increased by 1,300 motor vehicles. However,
in the course of 1952, the corps apparently received more new wotor veI c-
les from the GOFG than the armies did.
the IV Arty Corps is assigned two
m.rti.1.lrry divisions, threee AAA, divisions and two AT brigades in addition .
to the corps troops.
