1. A unit from the Luetzendorf Kaserme in Weimar with one motor beat and 20 trucks
with pontoons was dispatched toward Leipzig at 1600 hours on 23 April. Troops
from the Weimar-Buchenwald concentration camp were entrained on 16 April.
On 17 April. the camp was still occupied by 150 soldiers, 1
2, Troops and billeting equipment from barracks in the area of the Kummersdorf
firing range were entrained between 24 and 27 April. 2
