(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 1, Industria Chimica Farmaceutic. No, 9, the former Nitrosa factory with which the Legrain factory was merged during nationalization, is located on Strada Pucheni No. 8. 2, The factory makes semi-finished bismuth, sulfur, and analgesic preparations for pharmaceutical enterprises. 3, There is a special laboratory, entry to which is prohibited, in a separate building in the yard. The door to the laboratory has a sign "Danger to Life", and the workers in the laboratory wear gas masks. An installation similar to a baking oven and some demijohns have been teen inside. It is believed that concentrated sulfuric or hydrochloric acid is made there, The factory employs 60 workers, 40 of whom are women. Workers and officials earn from 4,500 to 10,000 lei per month, which is considered `as adequate wages. The manager, a former fitter, earns 25,000 lei per month. The chemists are young and inexpe:?ienced. Production is haphazard, and some of the factoryas products are alleged to have caused cases of poisoning.
