On 7 and 8 April 1953, preparations for the transfer of the troops were observed in
Wittenberg%.bout 350 boxes with ammunition and billeting equipment were hauled to the
railroad station by truck At about 5 p.m. on 8 April,, 27 trucks., 10 AA 25X1
guns, cif 76?mm, 4 field kitchens., and about 120 soldiers with
billeting equipment were loaded onto an undetermined number of flatcars and 12
respectively at the Wittenberg railroad station for shipment toward Jueterbog~
