The factory for production of viscose rayon in Rudnik P-heresienthaV east of Vrchlabi ?3$1?1536a., in the Krkonose Mountains, was one of the oldest Czechoslovak plants engaged in this type of production. The-plant was most probably subordinate to Ceske hedvabi (Czech Silk), in Lovoasice 503lN?l1+0hV flee CS-K-628 ,27.o as Ing? (fnu) Novak from the Lovosice plant used to go frequently to Rudnik on official trips. The equipment of the Rudnik plant as a whole was obsolete and therefore not satisfactory After 1945., the plant had serious difficulties in getting a sufficient number of qualified workers, Ing. (fnu) Repnak was th`e- plant managers Since 1951 the plant has been under reconstruction. All the production buildings were renovated and the plant was scheduled to be supplied with new machinery, especially with new washing machines and with about 50 new centrifugal s nin i ma hi e hi h u p n g c s w n c wo ld also perform the necessary yarn twisting. Previpusly;Y, viscose rayon yarn for textiles had been produced there. In the summer of 1952 the reconstruction was still going on, and the plant was not yet producing.
