1. The Chorzow power station in Chorzow III is the largest station feeding the
Silesian area. Its installed turbine and boiler capacity in June 1951 was as
a. Turbines
Two 45,000 kw high-pressure turbines of AEG manufacture
One 45,000 kw high-pressure turbine of Escher41i ss manufacture
Four 15 atmosphere condenser turbines with an output of 15,000
to: 20,000 kw each.
b.?Boilers:
Three 80 tons/hr. boilers of Borsig (Berlin4Tegel) manufacture

2. The five 80 tons/hr. boilers could produce a peak output of 100 tons/hr.
3. In additio the components for a sixth boiler
had arrived at the power station in June 1951. This boiler, which was
planned to~be in operation-by mid-1952, was designed to have an output of 150
tons/hr.l
