In December 1952 the headquarters of the Chinese Communist 41
Division, 14 Army, which was also the headquarters of the West
Yunnan Border Defense Bureau, was at Paoshan (N 25-070 E 99-09).
The 41 Division was commanded by CHtA Yu-sheng (2686/3768/2573).'
The subordinate regiments of the division were disposed as follows:2
a, The headquarters of the 121 Regiment, with one battalion, was
at Mangshih (N 24-271, E 98-35).
b, The 122 Regiment was at Paoshan, with one battalion at Shihtien
(N 24-43, E 99-12) and Yaokuan (N 24-36, E 99-15).
c. Two battalions of the 123 Regiment were at Chenktang (N 24-070
.E 99-25), and another battalion was at Mengpang (N 25-040
E 98-18) and Hsiaolu (1420/3619),
