inadequacy of members' contributions.
2. Under the geographic reorganization of the Russian zone each Bezirk
organization of the CDU in Thuringia now receives 14,9000 marks a month
from the government. Thus the CDU is supported by the states and can
continue to exist in spite of a serious decline in the number of members.
