1. Aircraft obs :rued at Aspern (P 49/X 49) frog: 7:15 a.: t. to 5:30 a.m.
and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 19 March included: 26 4.iG-15s; 4 singlet
engino :1our-ifing monoplanes with wings in ;slight d iedral, two seas
ar.-anged in ta;rdem, a plump fuselage, single rudder assembly elevator
assembly set, in the middle of the rudder as.3erzbly, and two-bladed
propellers; 2 biplanes; and 9 Pe-2s. There wap. o flying at th field
in fair weather and an easterly wind of about 1c; . Two MIG-15s
crossed the field frorn east to west.. There was no c) ange in the statla3
of the fuel dump West. Six .`guns with funnel-:reaped muzzle were
emplaced n the southwestern corner or the field':.. Naiintenarsce work was
being done on trucks pa ced near the crarages by soldiers who wore
black-tordered blue e- ulets. Some small van?-lila trucks with binned
sideboards were observed.
