Le:uzig Eilenburg,4 On 19 March, numerous 37-mm AA guns and trucks
sere unloaded at the Koenigsbrueck railroad station from a train
which came from the direction of Cheranitz. The trucks and AA guns

On the afternoon of 24 Larch, a column of 12 trucks
and 6 x 76-smm field guns
passed through Koenigsbruecko The column came from the direction of
Neues lager and marched toward Dresden, On the evening of 15 March,
12 x 100-mm AT guns and 16 trucks were loaded
at the Koenigabrueck railroad station. On the afternoon of 7 March,,
military personnel, incl. uding women soldiers, 12 x 100-mm A guns and
28 trucks were loaded on a train of 20 boxcars and 30 flatcars with
side-racks. On 17 March, 3 JS-3 tanks and 2 JS-2 tanks were load
the Ottendorf Okrilla railroad stationC a
camp for tank troops was established on Keualenberg Hill south of - Grae-
fenhain7 The soldiers werg quartered in tents. A similar camp was ob-
served at Lausnitz Heath.
Co rnumerous rail ship-
ments of the 11th Gds Tank Div and 8th Gds 1;iecz v on and after
11 April 1953, left their posts toward Koenigsbrueck and were unloaded
in the Schwepnitz area. The kind of occupation of the summer camps in
this area, , is indicative of th3
arrival of troops for .summer training.

Nachrichtenschule, Koenigsbrueck, include: the 270th Gds Mort Regt, pro-
bably the. 1418th AAA Regt, and the 44th Gds Tank Regt.,
confirms the 44th Gds Tank i7e of the a ith Gd i
Tank Div in Koenigsbrueck until 8 Decemjer 1952 belongs to ai
unidentified unit, probably of the 11th Gds Tank Div, which has been en-
gaged in field exercises in this area since January 19530
