From 7 to 13 April 1953, units stationed at Cottbus left the post by road"
Source had the ir:pressi.on that they went to Lieberose. II At 5:15 p .4'.. 25X1 X
on 26 March, a troop train consisting of about /.0 flatcars with sideracksi
and 4 boxcars arrived in Cottbus from the direction of Frankfurt/Oder.
Each flatcar carried a three-axle canvas-covered vehicle with rubber tirac?.
wheels and a large superstructure. The vehicle did not have dual tires.
The four boxcars were occupied by troops a A Lieberose resident stated
that, on 31 March, all the residents of the villages of Schoenhoehe and
Teerofen, northeast of the Gross See (lake), about 5 lc north of Tauer,
received order to vacate the area by 6 April.1

in a tent camp east of Schoenhoehe in the Lieberose training area on
17 April. . Other elements of the division,
at the same tiR:e left Cottbus and Luebben toward Weisswasser.

25X1 A 2. Comment a On 26 March.. a light AAA unit of the 32d AAA Div (US)
was entrained in Frankfurt/Oder and left toward Cottbus. It can be
assumed that this shipment went to Jueterbog.
