Trenches which are approximately 1.5 meters deep and 70-80 centimeters wide, some- times excavated in a single row and sometimes in double or triple rows, and situated 200 to 300 meters apart, are located, along the hills near the following villages:. a. Strandzha (N 12-03, E 26-58); b. Gorska Polyana (N 112-07, E 26-56); c. Voden (N 142-05, E 26-53); d. Malko Sharkovo (N 142-06, E 26-49); e. Momina Tsurkva (N 12-09, E 27-01); f. Fakiya (N 42-12, E 27-04); g. Bolyarovo (N.42-09, E 26-18); h. Golyamo Krushevo (N 142-12, E 26-56); i. Meden Rudnik (N 42-27, E 27-24); J. Cherni Vrukh (N 142-27, E 27-20); k. Zvezdets (N 142-07, E 27-24); 1. Malko Turnovo (N 141-58, E 27-30); and m. Between Pomorie and Sarafovo (N L2-3)., E 27-314), along the sea north of Burgas. Semicircular spaces of a size large enough to hold a man are located in the trenches, at five or ten meter intervals, Machine gun emplacements, covered with earth and trees, are located at the high points in the trench line. 3. the location of 10 cylindrical-shaped bunkers, each with four 25X1 embrasures, located as follows., a. Three situated southeast of Debelt (N 42-24, E 27-16), as follows: (1) One located 1.5 kilometers west of the Burgas-Elkhovo highway; (2) Two located approximately five kilometers east of the Burgas-Elkhovo highway. These bunkers were built in 1942 or 1943 and, although neglected, they are in a serviceable state except for the barbed wire entanglements which have been destroyed. b. Four or five bunkers facing the sea at a position approximately one kilometer east of Meden Rudnik village, between Hendren and Burgas lakes; and c. Two located on either side of the Burgas-Momina Ts4rkva highway, just north of Fakiya.
