4 There have been only counter-flush and structural drillings in the
Neusiedlersee area. Results have been unfavorable due to structural
folds and fractures.
3,, Drillings at Eibesbrunn have reached a depth of 1300 meters, However,
the geological structure differs so from that of SEB Bockfliess that
the gefll.ogists are doubtful that. there will be any positive results.
New drillings will be made nearer to the Boekfliess oil field,

Among the geological teat drillings made by the SMV so far, them
has only been one which was not made or planned by the Germans
during World War 11. Toward the end of the war, Austrians in the
geological test work were either faking the results of test drillings
or not giving them to the German management, in order to save the oil
for Austrian use after the war. After the war, geologist, Fiedler (fnu),
who was then with EPG and is now at the SIN General Directorate., gave
to the Soviets the complete results of the Ger:jan test drillings
reported that six rigs at Kagran had been
moved after completion of drillings..
