State Planning Commission
1. The. State Planning Commission was called in Rumanian,, Comisia de Stat a Plani,fi-
cariio This Commission, during the Fall of 1951,, was housed in a seven or eight-
story-high blockhouse which had formerly been occupied by the Rumanian National
Railroads (Caile Ferate Romano - CFR) in Bucharest. It was located on Elisabeta
Boulevard and the entire ground floor of the building was occupied by the State
Secondhand Store (Consignatii)o
2. This Commission had the function of coordinating the flow of raw materials and
other materials needed by the Rumanian industries for production.
