Location: The Infantry Corps of the Rumanian Navy is located at Constanta, on , Lenin Boulevard, No. 56. Commander: Colonel Starcu Political Commissar: Major Brad Chief of the Gener91.Staff: Major Niculescu. 2, The General Staff is divided into the following sections: Operations Section* Training Section, Scouting Section, Liaison and Conmunications Section, Cipher Section, Civil Defense Section. Counterintelligence Officer (of the Infantry Corps): Lt. Major Emil Gusti. He answers directly to the Ministry of Armed Forces (MFA). The Political Section Was 4 to 5 officers. They are the heads of the various bureaus: agitation-propaganda, intelligence, party's committee, MN (Union of the Working Youth) and training. The political section i. conducted by the political commissar and answers directly to the Commander of the Corps. The Cadre Section is in charge of personnel matters. This section works under the orders of the Commander of the Corps. The Command of the Corps has a complement ' of 100 officers and about 120 sub-officers who are assigned to the various services. 3. The Commander of the Rear is under the orders of the Commander of the Corps. He directs the following services: the Supply Service, The Equipment Service, The Accounting Service and The Transportations Service. 4. The Infantry Corps of the Navy is composed of: two infantry bases . numbered 1 and 2; one tank brigade; and one independent navy-infantry battalion. 5. The Navy-Infantry Base No. 1: Location: The command of the base is housed in the buildings located in the center of the city of Online. Those buildings are on the street which starts in the center of the city (the harbor) and goes south. The buildings are across from the city's hospital. Armament: The company: nine ZR automatic guns, three =machine gam; the rest are E8 rifles. The AT (antitank) guns are of Soviet type. 11. Organization of the artillery company: three artillery batteries composed of four guns, of 75 ma caliber each. 22. Ckganization of the AT company: tie batteries, each equipped with four AT Shots guns, 75 me caliber. 13. Location of the subordinate units of Base No, 1: The Navy-Infantry Regiment is located in the barracks built on the south bank of the Bolin& Channel, on the Meek Sea shore, at approximately one kilometer east of the city of Selina. One of the independent battalions of Base No. 1 is housed in wooden barracks located an the beach north of the tomn of Sfantu Gheorgbe (at the mouth of the Sfantu Gheorghe River). The barracks are located approximately 10 kilometers north of the town of Sfantu Gheorghe. The second independent battalion of Base No. 1 is installed in the same barracks which house the regiment, in SUlina. 14. The Navy-Infantry Base No. 2: Location: The Commead of the base is installed in the Wilding near the ceater of the city of Nang:alias apprimcimetely 40 kilometers south of Constanta. Commander: or Gheorghe Al; Political Commissar: Najor Nicolas Cojocara; Chief of the General Staff: Captain Third lank Gheorghe Mientesno. The General Staff had a similar orgenisation to that of the Navy-Infantry Carps. Counterintelligence officer: Lt. Petre Trajmel. The organisation of Navy-Infantry Base No. 2 is similar to that of Navy-Infantry Base No. 14 15. The Navy-Infantry Regiment of Nmagalia: Location: The regiment is hound lathe wooden barracks, located approximately one kilometer north of Nangalia. Comander: Captain Leontin Spineenu; Political Commissar: Lt. ajar Vasile Gheorghe; Chief of the General Staff: Captain Petra Broils.. The two independent battalions of Base No. 2 are housed in wooden barracks, located near the Navy-Infantry Ibtgimentis barracks, north of Nangalia. Armament: six Stalin type 122 tanks, 25 T-34 tanks, four German Tiger tanks. During the latest maneuvers on the Black Sea coast, the brigade has takenipart in the exercises and has proven efficient. 19. The Independent Navy-Infantry Battalion: Location: It is housed in the barracks located at the place called Tiglina, on the north bank of the Danube and on the left bank of the Siretul River at their point of confluence, which is two kilometers west of Galati. This battalion is organised the same way as is any other battalion which is part of a navy-infantry regiment. It is similarily equipped and manned.
