(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1 1. 7 July 1953 25X1 ,Tt was afnounced that 69500 tons of grain from Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg) arrived 'in,Szczecin (Stettin) on 15, 16, and 17 May 1953. The same steamer will bring another 6,500 tons between 28 and 30 May 1953, and another freighter will bring 5,000 tons of rice from Riga. 2. The grain elevators at Szczecin cannot be used for the next three months because of major repairs. Therefore, ocean shipsmust be unloaded directly onto river ships for transportation inland. 3. The question of manifests is not yet cleared up, and troubles are expected with the,Polish authorities.
