(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1 10 25X1A 1 July 1953 1 25X1A A police school of the AVH is in the former-artillery barracks near the'rail- road station. The number of students is about 500. 2. A police training school has been quartered in the buildings of the former gendarmery district command. There are about 1,000 students. The commander is Police Col. Attila VAJDA, a former gendarme and an embittered Communist. He was interned until 1944 for helping Jews. 3. A signal battalion has been installed in a newly built barracks. It is fully motorized and about 300 men strong. The recruits are mostly from Feher County. 4.
