1. A thew barracks complex was completed in 1952 in the Kdkhegyi erdg forest
nerr Hill 166. It consists of three three-story flat-roofed buildings,,
40 by 15.m, a similar two-story building, three smaller one-story buildings 50X1-HUM
The battalion belong3. to the 18 Armored Division at 50X1 -HUM
Gy ngy s. It has thirty-three T-34/85 tanks. Also in the same location is
the motorized infantry battalion of the 18 Armored Division. The strength
of the two units is about 900 men.
2. The 82 AAA Regiment is quartered in the barracks on Bajcsy Zsilinsky ut on
the railroad line to BAtaszAk. It consists of two sec- 50X1-HUM
tions of three batteries each and has 85 mm, guns. The strength is about
700 men.
3. Near this barracks is the Engineer Barracks; it is occupied by a technical
battalio The battalion has about 300 men and belongs to the
rifle division at Kiskunhalas.
4. Behind the Engineer Barracks on the Danube pier is the barracks of the
Danube flotilla.
5. The "Small Infantry Barracks" is on Kgles'ey Ferenoz utca; it Is occupied
by the school for weapon training of the technical troops.
6. Connected with it is the barracks of the border guard.
7. The Hungarian airborne rei o battalions strong, is in the barraoks
on Vaskuti

8. The exercise field of the airborne regiment is ' at the Miske Airfield. The
field is 2,000'by 1,000 in,, partly drained. "There is a concrete rune,
running northwest-southeast. Stationed at the field is a ground-crew
battalion which consists of a guard company, a maintenance
company, a transport company, and a signal company. It is commanded by
First Lt. Bela HOLLOSI. The strength of the battalion is about 200 men.
having eight IL 2a and four DC-3s, with 12 gliders of the V cs k type as
troop carriers. The strength of the squadron is about 150 men. The
commander is First Lt. Bela TUSCHEK.
