(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1 11 The home port of the Rumanian Navy is Constanta.? Tactically, it is dependent on the Soviet Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Mangalia. The Rumanian ships seized under the capitulation of 1944 were returned to Rumania in the course of the re- organization of the Rumanian Army during May-July 1952. 25X1 25X1 2. The commander in'.f of the Rumanian Navy is Admiral Dionisie Neacu. His Soviet adviser is Admiral, nov. 3. The total strength of the Rumanian Navy is 538 officers, 1,940 noncommissioned officers and 7,026 enlisted men. The navy consists of one heavy cruiser, one light cruiser, four destroyers, eight submarines, four torpedo boats, three mine- layers, three coast guard boats, 22 vedettes, two repair ships, two supply ships, one training ship, one hospital ship and eight tankers? D-2, sistership of the above. Formerly MARASTI, D3, of--Italian type, built 1930, 1,850 tons, 3.5 m draft. Crew 220 men, Five 120 mm ,guns, two 76 mm antiaircraft, two 40 mm antiaircraft, six torpedo tubes, four depth charge throwers. Formerly REGELE FERDINAND, renamed LETUTSHI in STATE Z( ARMY X Ships of the Rumanian Nav'ys ae ANTRAL ISAKOV (CC-9), heavy cruiser. Built at Nicolaiev, 1949, 9,000 tons. Draft 6 me Crew 700 men, Armed with nine 180 mm guns in triple turrets, 102 mm antiaircraft guns in double turrets, 6 torpedo tubes, 533 mm, tripled. b. ROMANIA LIBERA (C-.4), light cruiser. Completed 1935, Italian type, 8,000 tons. Draft 4.5 m. Crew 600 men. Ships of this design are: JIUL, TELBAJ.FI, ARGES, IALOMITA, DAMBOVITA, NEMLOV,, Type II, German type, sold to Soviet Union at the beginning of the Second World Wars 60 tone., 1.5 in draft, 18 men.
