THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE.
(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE)
1. One WOP (Military Border Guard) battalion which belongs to the WOP brigade at
Szczecin (Stettin), is located at Chojna (Koeni sberg/Neumark) ando is
secared
with watching the frontier sector from Marwice cMarwits-054/Q42) Cedynia
(Z'ehden). Along this frontier sector the battalion. has the following watch-
points:
a. No. 1 at Widuchowo (Fiddia+how)
b. No. 2 at Ognica (Nipperwiese)
o. No. 3 at Krajnik Gorny (Hohenkraenig)
d. No.. 4 at 11aski (Paatzig)
e. No. .5 at Bielinek (Bellinchen)
f. Nom 6 at Lubiechow (L'uebbichow)
g. No. 7 at Cedynia
The aforementioned frontier sector also has 18 observation towers which the
WOP guards are only' able to use during the day since the towers have not
as yet been equipped with searchlights.
2. The commander of this WOP battalion, which has about 450 men, is Captain
.Jozef Mucha. The battalion has recently been stren thened and has received 25X1
orders from the WOP command to sharpen its watch.
these orders were probably issued because of some military movements on the
German side of the Polish-German frontier.
