I. On 7 April 1953, three: KVP trains, which carried tanks and AA gzns and,
came from Klietz, passed through Stendal toward Salzwedel.
a.m. on 9 April 1953, a KW train, which had come from the direction
of Schoenhausen, passed through Stendal toward Wittenberge or Gardelegen.
It included 15 boxcar., with F14, 12 locked boxcars, some flatcars carrying
three field kitchens and 15 light AT guns, 13 flatcars with 26 gs, which
152-nma, and 3 flatcars with 12 AA guns. At 3.25 p.m.

on a same day, a KV1 train of 15 boxcars with EM and 11 flatcars with guns,
which were 152-=, traveled toward Salzwedel or Oebiefelde.

2. In the forenoon hours of 7 April. 1953, a KVP train with about 2GC infantry--
men, 6 trucks and 1 sedan, which arrived from Prora, passed through Stral-
sund toward Pasewalk. /:-t about 10:45 p.m. on 8 April. 1953, a ICVP train
b.rriwed at Stralsund from the direction of Bergen,

200 EM and 9 canvas-Jc s ? oue yes resembled the field
howitzers of the former German Army.
3. At about 12 p.m. on 10 April 1953, a XVP train departed from Neubranden--
burg toward Stralsund. III included 9 boxcars with EM and an unidentified
number of flatears2wjth 18 AT guas of 37-mm or 45-mm, 4 aribulances and
4 field kitchens.
4. On 10 and 11 April 1953, the entire KV? force at Fremnits was transferred
to Eggesin. In the evening hours of 11 April 1953, an advance party of the
Gotha KVP, who wore red collar patches, arrived at Pre its on -t-rucks.
They said that the would be followed b 4,000 men. In the morning hours

5. At av^ut ? p.m. on 8 April 1053, a CV? train passed through Brandenburg
toward Neustadt/bosse. Tt cane from the direction of Rosslau and included
10 boxcars with a total of about 250 men and 5 flatcars with eight. l22-nm
howitsers. 4
1. Comment. It is doubted that the trains should have been correctly
o served with regard to the directions of arrival and departure. It is
.'mpossibl e that tanks and AA guns should have come from Klietz, where
the ''? engineer officer candidate school is stationed. No KV?s are
stationed at Salzwedcl and Gardelegen.
2. Comment. The trains traveling from and to Ruegen Island possibly
--'-carried elements of the Prora Div, which were transferred to the Pase-
walk area for record firin ;.
3. _?Cornent. Two previous reports mentioned the transfer to the INggesin
area of the 2d Mecz Fe t of the Eggesin Meoz Div, which was stationed at
Prernnitz. The intended transfer of tze Gotha

4. omaent. This train possibly carried elements of the howitzer artillery
regiment ~of the Armeeggruppe Nord, which were transferred from Dessau- Koch
stedt to the Pe.sawalk area.
