fields 9 twin-jet planes,, including 4 in areaaaand 5 in area b; 3 single-engine planes
in. area a; 2 biplanes in area a; and 2 high-wing monoplaneak, similar to the Fi-156

T'he, operating personnel were engaged in calisthenics. Two Sentries guarded the AA gun
a placement along Wiener Neusiadt,,Bad Fischau road in which guns were observedo No
operating personnel could be seen. Near the emplacements there were about. 10 motor
vehicles and some piles of timber and boards, Most of the AtA gun emplacements along
Badener ?Strasse there were three van-like trucks with rod antennas 3 to 5 meters high
and one van-like truck with a rod antenna,, about 10 meters high the end of which was
thicker than, the rod itself,, &i umbrella aerial about 10 motors high was located just
east of the antenna mast with a cone-shaped bracing at Baadener Strasson No guy wires
or lead-ins were observed on this aerial.

b, local residents stated that little air activity was conducted by KtG 15s
throughout the day on 23 April. After 9 a.m.,, there was moderate air
activity by MG-15s. The sky was 6/10 overcast, visibility was good and
there + s outhwesterly wind. of about 5 km per hour. A van-like truck
___]with a rod antenna was parked at the western side of the
Arti.lierie Kaserne n Two strong cables extended from this vehicle to a
window in the third floor on the vectern side of the barracks

oceupl ed by two fighter regiments" The twin-jet planes are 11tl-28s which
probably belong to a bomber unit temporarily stationed at Wiener Neustadt
airfield for combined practices with the fighter units.
