At about 9:45 a.m. on 22 April, 2 Li-2s were parked on the edge of the field where Soviet Air Force soldiers were observed. The field was surrounded by a board fence, about 2.2 meters high, 3. On 25 Aprz1, two U-2s each were observed at the field and in an open hangar.-Their engines were covered with tarpaulins. 4. On 25 April, three twin engine planes were parked in front of a hangar and another plane of the same type was observed inside the hangar.. One of the three planes %ad a Soviet star on its rudder assembly, a large white B underneath, and a vertical red stripe on the 'trailing edge of the rudder assembly. 5w On 4. May, no aircraft were observed at the field. The landing field was being I llers which were towed by tractors. Jeeps occupied by Soviet officers, were observed 25X1 25X1 25X1 L_ Core en t,. No information has been received that Bargsdorf airfield is to be released for the VPL. It was reported in September 1952 that the field was to be used by the Association for Sports and Technic.
