1. It was rumored that R.ngsdorf airfield was to be vacated by the
Soviets and taken over by the VP.
2. At about 9:45 a.m. on 22 April, 2 Li-2s were parked on the edge of
the field where Soviet Air Force soldiers were observed. The field
was surrounded by a board fence, about 2.2 meters high,
3. On 25 Aprz1, two U-2s each were observed at the field and in an
open hangar.-Their engines were covered with tarpaulins.
4. On 25 April, three twin engine planes were parked in front of a
hangar and another plane of the same type was observed inside the
hangar.. One of the three planes %ad a Soviet star on its rudder
assembly, a large white B underneath, and a vertical red stripe
on the 'trailing edge of the rudder assembly.
5w On 4. May, no aircraft were observed at the field. The landing field
was being I llers which were towed by tractors. Jeeps
occupied by Soviet officers, were observed

L_ Core en t,. No information has been received that Bargsdorf
airfield is to be released for the VPL. It was reported in September 1952
that the field was to be used by the Association for Sports and Technic.
So far, no change has been observed but it is believed that a repair
shop for piston engines is still located there.
