1. Between 8 and 15 May 1953,
the hangars in
the northern section of Ra sdorf airfield were fully occupied by twin-

engine transport planes. These planes repeatedly circled the field. Bet Teen
the large repair hangar and the southern hangar is the eastern section of
the the field there were two engine test stands on which engines were being
tested mostly in the afternoon.

2. Between 5:30 .m. and 6 p.m. on 15 May, a grin-en , ine DC-3 plane

was parked in front of
the hangars near which 5 biplanesl
were also ob-
served. There was no air activity.

]Comment. The buildings at Ra.ngsdorf airfield house a repair shop for
piston engine; ., The -transport planes observed at the field probably Were
repaired planes which made test flights at the field.
