Between 29 March and 5 May 1953, the following observations were made at Schoe awalde airfield. 25X1X 29 to 1 March-. No flying. 1 A ril:~ A Bb-2 took off at 7 a ,n. and circled several times over Schoenwaide during the day. After dark, the runway was lighted, but no flying was observed, 2 Au.ril ; At 2 pam., a twin-engl'ie aircraft with double rudder assembly took off, circled over the field and landed after 10 minutes. Three twin-engine aircraft were parked at the field; no flying activity was observed. 8 April. Between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p..m., flying was practiced by two multi-engine aircraft. During the take-offs and landings, two searchlights, located just south of the hangars, directed their beamix to the runway. The runway lights were in operation and, shortly before and after the landings, instruction were given over a loud speaker. ifl Aprils During the morning, two twin-engine aircraft took off and landed-at irregular intervals o A third plane of this type was parked at the field.
