On 4 Juiyf 7 x 85 mm. AA guns, 350 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets,
and 22 trucks of the 13th. AA Division, coming from Nohra Airfield, and 12
x 85 mm. AA guns, 4 x 37 mm. AA guns, 350 soldiers wearing red-bordered black
epaulets,, and 22 trucks coming from the Flak Kaserne, were entrained in Weimar.
The train left in the direction of Halle-Leipzig.
2. On 6 July,, two troop trains loaded with 16 x 76.2 mm. AA guns, it x 22 mm. AA guns,
personnel wearing red-bordered black epaulets, and 39 trucks of the 8th Guards
Army, passed through Guesten bound toward Sangerhausen.l

On 2 July, troop, trains carrying about 40 trucks, amphibious vehicles, motorcycles,
motor vehicles and personnel of the 4th Guards Mechanized Army passed through
Eberswalde toward the North.2
On 8 July, AAA. units and billeting equipment were loaded onto two trains at the
Fuerstenwalde railroad station. The units came from the local airfield.3
On 9 July, 21 T-34 tanks of the 53rd Guards Tank Regiment of the 6th Guards
Tank Division, 10 armored scout cars and motor vehicles of the division were
entrained at the Wittenberg freight station for dispatch toward Jueterbog4

6, Polish and German railroad men reported: that the Soviet Blue Express was derailed

by Polish partisans near Warsaw on 21 June. After 8 July, the Blue Express was
rerouted. via Frankfurt/doer - K.uestria (.Kostrzyn). 25X1 X

the Vistula. River at Ma,rienburg, was pushed into the river. There were allegedly
300 fatalities. n Frankfurt/Oder that a Soviet leave train
operating between Frankfurt and Brest had been derailed by partisans on 28 June.
The relief train sent to the place of accident from Frankfurt/Oder allegedly
returned with only 4O survivors. Soviet dependents have been returned by leave
trains t o Russia: since 161 June. On 27 June, three trains with airforce personnel,
motor vehicles and equipment were observed passing through Frankfurt/Oiler bound
25X1A for Brest. On 29 June, one such train was observed.5
~. New allocations amounting to 65 million eastmarks for the completion of construction
projects in the area of Armeegruppe NQrdost (sic) by the Bau. Union Nordost have
been granted by the East German Ministry of the Interior. Bau Union Kueste
and Bau Union. Nord. will. be deactivated.
The following numbers of railroad cars were made available at Rummelsburg for
loading operations at Werneuchen: 24 June, 14 converted boxcars, 17 boxcars, 20 flat-
ear's- 2 kitchen cars- 25 June, 6 converted boxcars, 1.9 boxcars, 27 flatcars, 1
kitchen car; 26 June., 10 converged boxcars,- 20 boxcars, 12 flatcars, 2 kitchen cars;
29 June, 15 converted boxcars, 14 boxcars, 34 flatcars, 1 kitchen car.6
