Imports of silica rock from cep Soviot satellites txlii amount to about 4,525 metric tons in 1953, and an additional 1,374 metric tons from nest Germany and 238 tons from Czechoslovakia can be counted one A total of 19,755 metric tons of silica rock will therefore be available in 1953. Of this amount, however, 758 metric tons from is so poor qualitatively, that the figure can be reduced to' 19$ i metri c tons. 3. The needs of the Ministry of :iini.ip and Smelting for the first half of 1953 amount to 11,328 metric tons.
