On 7 May 1953, the barracks installations in Jueterbog II were ocqupiet1 not to
capacity by about lp600 to 1,,800 troops. Sentries observed wore red-bo??dered black
epaulets, including some with motor transport insignia and-. a few, witFi tank insignias
From .3 to 7 May., the unite almost daily left in the early morning for the training
grounds for marksmanship training and field training. ;only a few 25X1
vehicles.

2. On 7 May, the Fuchsberg Kaserne, Jueterbog, was occupied almost to cap acit by about
1,400 troos. Sentries observed wore red-bordered black epaulets, 25X1
25X1 the rear detail of the engineer unit had left the installation. Troops
wearing engineer insignia and the vehicles of the engineer unit were no longer 25X1
observed. Between 3 and 7 May, almost no training activity. Individual
small columns of motor vehicles occupled by troops daily left the installation for the
25X1 firing range north of Jueterbog and returned in the evening.

with submachine guns and assault rifles passed through Markendorf,, coming from the
direction of Werder and proceeding toward Charl.ottenfelde. Some time later,

4 May, 14 trucks occupied by troops armed with carbines were passing through Charlottc
folds toward east.
