6 Empty ears Which were corpletely overhauled were made availaale as Steto
faaaerve in all areas of regional railroad headquarters, They included
flatcars, gondola cars, boxcars and tank cars. Most of the ears kept
available in the area of the Magdeburg regional beadquartershwere box=
cars9 while five trains ca'L:. gondola careveach with 60 cars,nd atout 100
tank cars were kept available in Ballo. Most of the gondola cars involved
had removable front walls, These cars were not listed with the park of
operational care.

7. In early June 1953, it was decreed that all nym-type cars be withdrawn
fron traffic end- be held available. Cars sidetracked priorto 3 June
included 30 in Erandenburg? 15 in Seddin and 15 in Potedam,I.

and held available in the Wisrar-Ilagenow-Luete area cf tho 1:chwerin
regional railroad headquarters.2
