A salvaged submarine, Type VII C, has been towed into Warnemuende and IF, now alongside. The submarine is being cleaned. Machinery has been found to be in good condition. The interior of the hull is to be stripped, all equtpanent overhauled, and then to be reinstalled. There are no torpedoes on board, and it has no periscope. 25X1 25X1 about 1,006 25X1 Sassnitz. the submarine recently salvaged and now alongside 25X1 in Warnemuende would probably be moved to Sassnitz in about nine months. risoners are working on a project designed to ecome a su ar n base in SECRET/CONTROL - U.
