Since the bnpinninF of 1053 Juschwneschtrans business has been suff'er-
ing seriously immm. oh as rany outetandinr accounts have been cowing
in but very slowly. By the end of April 1953 three USIA enterprises
(Brunner Glasf .brik, USIA Land.u.Forstwirtschaft, and Kaufr+^.nisehes
Zentralbfiro) owed Juschwneschtrans a total of about 3 million Aus-
trian Sehillings for freight expenr3iture. As a result of this Jusch-
wnes3chtrans has continuously been in arrear with its payments to the
Austrian Federal Railroads. By the and of April 1953 the sum owed to
this enterprise for freight starsps19 had risen to about 1 million
Schillings. Also the Soviet Minraral Oil Administration owes Jusch-
wnesehtrans large sums of riioney. Jusahwner,chtransa current account
with the Soviet I :ilitary Bank,: Trattnerhof, Vienna I,, amounted at the
end of April 1053 to 345,000 Schillinps, and 2.2 million Schillings
were deposed on a special account with the s r.e bank,-. These figures
are about 75% lower than the corresponding sire were twelve months
ago,
