A Doernitz resident stated that, at present, artillery units from Altenbrug were also stationed at the training grounds. Several artillery officers from Altenhh.cg stated that they,, this year, would stay at Altengrabow only for a short time and would soon leave. During the preceding 70a?s, these units had stayed at the training grounds all summer. Except for the troop quarters at Altengrabow and. the Rosenkrug cantonment, about 2 kin south of Schopsdorf, no troop camps were determined in the training area or in the vicinity. The Rosenkrug cantonment stretched southward as far as the Doernits-Wendlobbese road. Fort;; 122-m. field howitzers were at a parking lot in the woods north of the abovementioned road. According-to the caliber of the howitzers, the Rosenkrug cantonment presumably is occupied by the lath Now Arty Brig (13,S) .from `Rathenow. The driving school vehicles observed also belonged to the briga:+.e and headquarters units of the IV Arty Corp;:,. The AAA column probably beta -.ged to. the 31st AM Div which, according to rep,nrts on transportation, f tree: to Altengrabow on two trains in early llay9 The other motor vehicle 25X1 belong to the Third Shock Army, the 43d Gds Army Arty Brig, the 13th AAA iv ` and the 20th Gds Mecz Div. From the latter two divisions, presumably.lig AA units were at Altengrabow which had transferred there in early and/or late April.
