1, About 1300 ECH 81 tubes are being produced daily. During June 1953,40
winding pine for this type of tube were produced.
Up to the present time, the ECH 81 has been produced with so-called
"form grids." The production of this grid took a great deal of time,
and there was a high percentage of rejects. Future plans, however,
call for the discontinuance of the use of this type of grid and the
substitution of oval grids similar to those used in other tubes.
3. After the June demonstrations, there were many arrests in the factory.
There are still many shortages, especially in light metals and materials
for anode plates.
