25X1 I about 400 marines of the East China Military Area were
ordered to be transferred to, the Central and South China Military Area to
assist in marine training programs. The marines who were to transfer
25X1 included four staff officers of battalion-rank eight staff officers of
company rank, 23 persons of section (pan, 3803) rank, and 355 pivates
25X1 first class. these marines left Iangchow for Canton.
