was joined by.a Hungarian police boat, which accompanied it to Budapest
and back. At Szob a Hungarian customs official boarded the DDSs ship
and accompanied it to,Budapest and back. In the port of Budapest, the
police boat-circled the DDSG craft continuously, making use of a spo-
light during the hours of.darkness.1 When the DDSG craft passed through
channels close to the shore, the Hungarian police boat stationed itself
between the Austrian boat and the bank.
4. A number of DDSG crew members received shore permits. They remained on
shore for only a short time, since they were constantly accompanied by

shore permits.
