Martial law was declared in Brandenburg on 17 June and alas lifted on. 26 June 1953. During this period, troops who had arrived from an undetermined. direction, had been employed in the town. Prior to 30 June., guns were dug in in Goerden. On 30 June, the troops called in for eriploymena in Brandenburg had been withdrawn. The area of the Generalfeldzeugmeister KaserXce had been sealed off during the period of martial law. The situation was back to normal on 26 June. The occupation of the installation was unchanged. No training activity was observed. Motor vehicles warm seen on route to the installation. After martial law had been lifted, the Infanterie Kaserne was occupied by about 100 'troops and the Flak Kaserne by about 150 troops The Pion er aserne was occupiea as previously about roopii?
