`As can be seen from the table above,a number of persons have been evac-
uated'from their home's: The people who'have been evacuated or those
whose evacuation is pending are or have been kul*ke'or are considered
to be opposed to Ooimnu4ism. It was rumored that all the Armenian settle-
ments on-the border would be evacuated in the future. According to this
rumor, all the settlements lying: between ;the :,Turkish, border .arid,.!.A'line: runxling approximately, north and, south and pai~.Allel to the border and
passing through the village of Verkhniya Kalindzha are to be evacuated.
This evacuation is to take place as.soon as all the, former kulaks and
alleged anti-Communists have been evacuated. Furthermore, a similar
evacuation is, accor'ding:to:,the,rumor, to take place in Azerbaydzhan.
