OF PAGES l 1, Textile faatoriee in Lodz are primarily engaged in producing woolen goods for the USSR the latter supplies the raw wool. 2. Some years ago Krupineki,, the Vice Minister for Patel and Power, in said to have received orders from Minn to examine the problem of how to exploit the copper mines in Lower Silesia. The Germans during the war only succeeded in obtaining a copper which contained several impurities which made it unfit for use in industry. It is believed that a satis- factory means of exploiting this copper has been found, and the mines are now in production. SECRET/CONTROL - U. S.
