lm During the night on 25 June 1953p the troops which, during the night t__ 17 Jung; had
left toward Berlin, returned to the Templin training area. Source was not able to
obtain detailed information on the troops as they left for., and returned from., Berlin
via 1 araelspring and Templine After the return of the troops and prior to 10 July,
little activity was observed at the training grounds. The area again was cordoned off
as prior to the departure of the troops. Be ,weep 25 June and 10 July, only a few
squads and platoons were receiving basic training;, and firing with infantry weapons
was observed only occasionally. k=fter 25 June, all troops eng ?.;ing in field trs.i.ning

superstructures with three windows were detrained at the Temp n railroad station4
Two concrete mixing machines and four foundation pitsp each of 10 x 10 meters,, were
in Jagen (forest section) No 101 near lAnnonwalde. Two one-story temporary buildings.
about 15 meters long.. and a watchtower had been erected near the cantonment building;
quartering the colonel, in J ag en No 45, near Beutel, during the week prior to 10 Jury G .
2? Between 28 June and 9 July, source did not observe any training activity in the
Tomplin training area. Between 10 a.m. and noon on 28 June, trucks which were Ioaded
with billeting, equipment and construction timber, and went from the Kannenburg summer
