1. At about 2 pm. on 3 August 1953, a troop. train of 9 boxcars and an
undetermined number of flatcars was loaded with soldiers, 4 x 122-0
field howitzers, 4 :x 100 rtmi AT guns, 8 prime movers and 6 trucks at
the Gera railroad station. The train was headed toward Georgenthalm 1
2. At 10 p.mo on 25 July, a train carrying four large assault boats, several
small assault boats,, pontons and motor vehicles passed through the Koethen
railroad station toward Dessau or Magdeburg,

3? At about 3 p.m. on 5 August, a troop train from the direction of Riesa
arrived at the Jueterbog railroad station and was side-tracked,, The train
consisted of 3 or 4 boxcars with soldiers, and an undetermined number of
flatcars with 6 x 85 -mm AA guns 6 x 76--tun AA guns, 28' trucks,

Arty Brig (US). The corps troops of the XXVIII Gds Mitz Rifle Corps are
quartered in the Georgentha1.- Petriroda area during the sua;s?ier training
