1. The Vlasim (0 50/M 14) - Velis road, 7 km. southwest of Vlasim, was closed
to civil traffic by military aent?ies. Construction work was done in the
area of Hradiste, about 4 km.southwest,of Viasim. Stones and cement were
trucked from the Jinosov brickyard, about 3 km.eouth of Vlasim, on army
vehicles to the building site, at which, residents said, underground depots
were under construction. The building area extended., from the area around
Hradiste to the southeast as far as Skalka Hill, mouth of Malovidy, 6 km.
southeast of Vlasim. The woods on Skalka gill was occupied by soldiers,
who were seen constructing telephone lines. They did not show up in
villages. .
2. The ammunition"plant Can Zbrojovka,,2 whose former designation was Seiler-
Bellot, was on the northeast side of the Viasim -',~Bolinka road, directly
southeast of the railroad crossing, and allegedly manufactured rifle
ammunition and explosives of various kinds with a`;lbor forge of 10,000
men. The entire installation was constantly guarded by soldiers who wore
dog-head insignia on dark-red patches and belgnged'to a unit of about 150
men, which was stationed at the installation.
25X1 C ti Domasin is the location. of one , of thy, .argest fuel depots
t oughoiit Czechoslovakia. The construction activities possibly are con-
nected with the fuel depot or the ammunition Plant. It is believed that
underground depot installations are under construction there.
25X1 Comments An Armament Works Brno (Zbrojovka Brno) plant is
listed in the 1951-52 telephone book as beintlocated at Vlasim. "Ces
Zbrojovaka" here is probably a reference to the Czech Armament Works
(CeskaZbrojovka), but no Czech Armament Works'plant is listed in the
telephone book as being located at Vlasim.
