2. Visiting Russians,
A. From Decembdi''1952 until sometime in 1953, the representative of the customer
for NTB-3 takk 13S'(51-13M) visited NTB-3. This task was for the development
of a meter for measuring pea currents. Seriainnyra Vertushka Dlys =;merenika
Morskikh Tekheniy'). The representative was Yu.M.Efremov. No fu~'ther details
are known, except that he'is belived to have dome, like all cusltc~ners'
representatives in cases of acceptance of equipment, from the USSR.
b. On 19 April 1953, there was a discussion in NTB-3 between Schoetz and the
representative of the customer. for task 6M- SeniOr Lt. A.P. Zologub.
Task 6M (apparently 37/6M) is for a "coefficient of refle*1t=i.mt.e;?
0.5...30 mcs", apparently for ionosphere work.1
c. The deputy of A.P. Zologub is Ivanov, (fnu). He'was in NTB-3 on 2 April 1953
to discuss task 7M (38/7M)2for a 110 0 kcs to 30 mcs apparatus for measuring
atmospheric interference. Ivanov was also interested in task 26M (10/26M)
apparatus for the control of the quality of radio of radio station traffic
(field strength meter).3
