1. A very large eteel...fraink'"hall with wooden''arid brick walla 1 was constructed
between'the Stooznie Gdanekie (Gdansk Shipyards) and Stocznia Folnoona (North-
orn'Ship?ya "rd) at the end of 1952. Four new branch railroad tracks lead into
the' 'Yiall' aiid "a"' large mobile crane was observed lifting machines that were
being"inetelled'in the hall. Informant has heard that steel ribs for ships
will be constructed in the hall.
2. The hail is about 250 to 300 meters in lengthy 30 meters wider and is at
liAstthree'or four stories high. Many windows have been placed in the
r` ooi`'" ind?"wa`lls " of the hall.' The windows along the walls are located rela-
tively high above the ground level.
3. ThexSto6tnie Gdanikii shipyard is constructing many fishing trawlers of
about600""to 800 tons eache ~ 'According to informant, these trawlers could
b6?ueed`-by the "navy to transport guns and tanks because their decks are
