1. The Anton 'IYanoY Metallurgical Factory is located opposite the central railroad
station in Plovdiv. It is equipped with 80 lathes, one cogwheel-cutting machine
off'Ge4 ii i one,or two planes, one 500-horsepower press, and two 300- 400-
rsepower presses. "Ths'ison casting section has two large furnaces and one
small furnace. In December 19$2, between 300 and 500 workers were employeda,
factory makes pumps, cylinders, gear wheels, and spare parts for machinery and
tractors.
From March to 0o*ober 1912 (sic), the factory filled a special order from RRnania
for a large number of pipe connections.
