1, On 8 August 1953, the Arrtill.erie Kaserna. in Kuestrin was occupied by
about 200 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets, Between 28 July
and 8 August, about 36 troops daily received training on six 25
AA guns in the west section of the training area. On I August, 40
troops received instruction on four 85 mm AA guns in the southeast
portion of the training area, Reports of carbines and submachine guns
were ~nily hear from the firing range during the period under review.
