(Comment. This shipment probably carried a signal unit of the
First Gds Mecz Army which participated in signal exb.Luloes in the
Rathenow area. On 3 July. unit returned from Rathenow to Dresden
4. C,Q ment. Probably the shiprrent carried details of the 44th
C sunk Regt of the 11th Gds Tank Div which had returned from
Koenigsbrueck to Veissen Bohnitzsch Kaserne on 17 June. The present
information agrees with previous information
according to which the Bohnitzach Kaserne had been occupied
a city until 29 June but was vacated on that day by the troops.

5. Comm nt The two trains from Glauchau which probably carried
e a a of the 22th Hv Tank SP Regt were reported for the first time.
In early June? undetermined exercises took place in the Zeitz area. A
unit of the regiment participated in these exercises. The train on 3
Jure to Neubukow probably carried three tanks and some trucks.
Possibly the tanks were used for towing tank duitnies as targets for
firing practices with life ammunition by AAA units. Tank dummies
had also been observed at the Wustrow firing range in 1952.

e Div which participated in air landing exercises between Brandis and
Erfurt-Bindersleben airfields which lasted-until 11 July.
