6. On the same day more KVP units had app arent,ly moved
to the Schlosspark Friedrichsfelde. The total number of tents seen there
was estimated at 3000 The tents were occupied by 2,400 to 39000 VPs9
allegedly an infantry unit in the strength of a regiment, and a motorcycle
unit in the strength of a battalion.

Most of the soldiers wore red service color.
7. On 7 August 121 canvass-covered trucks in the yard
of Friedrich Karl Kaserne near the Friedrich Strasse elevated train station.
Trucks occupied by KYP soldiers were repeatedly seen entering or leaving
the installation. These trucks apparently carried guard release details.
Five field kitchens which were in operation and a tent were observed in
the southwestern corner of the installation.

fourth, platoon which allegedly belonged to the company quarteredon Heide-
kampsvsg was employed on Kiefhols Strasse about 100 meters northwest of
Damniveg% Three tents and about 30 men who wore black-bordered red epaulets
were seen there. An outguard with two tents was observed on Kiefhole Strasse
about l00 maters northwest of Puder Strasse. The guards at the railroad
underpass on Kiefholz Strasse and at the border crossing point on Taupitser
Strasse probably belonged to this outguard.

A total of about 300 tents occupied by approximately 2,500 men were seen
there.
