Between 4:30 P.M. on 5 September and 4:00 A.M. on 6 September, columns of sedans, trucks, medium AA guns and troops, including uniformed women, continually passed through Roebel, enroute from Waren toward Wittstock.l 3. Two shipments including GOFG sedans and troops were detrained in Wuelsdorf on 10 September. 4. A signal unit of the 3rd Shock Army was detrained in Magdeburg $`riedrieh- stadt on 9 September.3 C omrnents s 25X1 1. One motor vehicle 3rd Shook Army. ]in the column belonged to the 2. The motor vehicles observed included some belonging to the 8th Guards Army., the loading of which had been observed in Weimar 25X1 on 28 August. 3. All observations tend to indicate that the command post exercise which started in the Pasewalk Angermuends area on about 28 August was terminated in the area southeast of Wittenbsrge on about 7 September. The headquarters, signal and AA units were transferred by road to the entraining area. No definite information on the participation of units of the 8th Guards Army in the exercise has been received.
