OF PAGES DATE OF,, INFO, 25X1 REQUIREMENT NO, D W f DII,LF 25X1 25X1 25X1 22 September 1953 25X1 During late August 1953, the East China Military Area (ECMA) received 100 x 75-mm. mountain guns from the Chinese Communist Revolutionary Military Council. These guns, which had been manufactured at the. Tlaiyuan (N 37-520 E 112-35) Arsenal,1 were distributed to the artillery regiments of the military districts of the ECMA. The Ordnance Department of the Supply and Service Command of the ECMA assigned 20 guns to Shantung, 14 to Anhwei, 18 to Kiangsu, and 24 each to Chekiang and Fukien? omments 1. in 1948 the Northwest Artillery manufacturing ant at aiyuan was producing a limited number of mountain artillery pieces.
