Two trains occupied by young soldiers were detrained at Weiner, one on 12 and the other on 14 September. Pour trains with young, unarmed soldiers were sild'to have been detrained at Weimar between 1 and 6 September. 2i Several shipments of recruit' passed through Lusbben, enroute toward Berlin, between $ and 10 September. 3. On 15 September. 200 to 300 trams and eauinment were loaded on 20 boxcars in Wensdorf, a train consisting of one converted 50X1-HUM boxcar and 13 boxcars moved from Wuensdorf toward the border on 15 September. 4. On 16 September, a train composed of 20 boxcars and 11 passenger oars occupied by troops passed through Frankfurt/Oder, enroute from Eberswalde toward Brest- Litovsk. 5. An uprise trains assumed to have come from Brest-Litovak, arrived at Neubrandenburg on 16 September. About 240 troops with blue epauleti detrained from four cars. Six oars proceeded toward Demmin. 6. An express train with about 170 ioviet Air Force officers passed through Stralsund during the night of 16 September. The train cams from Damgarten and proceeded towardeFrankfUrt/Oder. 7. Railroad Subdistrict No. 1 was ordered to move SO transitworthy converted boxcars to Frankfurt/Oder on 23 September. 50X1-HUM [0cmments The order issued by the Sovist,Defenee Minister on 5 September is expected to result in the dismissal of the personnel of the 1930 and 1931 classes. There will a reduction in strength which cannot be made up by the induction of .the 1934 class and the deferred men of the older ?lasses. The above reports are the first indioation of the arrival of new troops. Since the number of these arrivals has thus far been small, it is believed that no large 'seals exchange movement has as yet been started. It is expected that !Mir' exchange will start only upon the ,!oompletion of the fall maneuvers. No shipments of personnel have as yet been registered at the border crossing points.
